VR-Bank Ostalb

An important step for future banking

As the new home of VR-Bank Ostalb, the five-storey building inaugurated in November at the Aalen site aims to pool competences, optimise internal structures and meet the requirements of high customer orientation. The planning and design of the different office levels were also to be pioneering and future-proof. The prime requirement was the creation of a modern and functional office landscape offering various working situations in an appealing and contemporary ambience. The bank was to present itself as a living space and a meeting place – personal, likeable, open and communicative. 

In implementing the desired office concept, PALMBERG and the office specialist Schieber Werkstätten from Bopfingen designed a place that creates space for meetings and discussions. A coordinated, representative material and colour design was just as important as the right selection of office furniture. The product range used by PALMBERG masters this balancing act, which on the one hand allows for absolute discretion and on the other creates a likeable, open atmosphere, conveying transparency and customer proximity. The equipment ranges from concentrated, ergonomic work at desks of the CREW series to meeting zones to PRISMA 2 storage space solutions which were at the same time used as interior design elements.

PALMBERG was successful in transferring values such as friendliness, competence, reliability and solution orientation into the interior design in order to visualise the content repositioning of VR-Bank Ostalb also to their employees and customers. The design of the different working zones takes account of the corporate mission statement and makes banking even more personal.
